Jesus said, "I will build my church, and the gates of Hell will not prevail!" (Matt 16:18). He continually draws glory to Himself as He makes disciples in the context of His church. The role of the church is to constantly be drawing people in, raising them up in their faith, and sending them out to where God calls.
Harvest Bible Chapel Peoria exists because of a faithful few that had the vision to seek a church plant in the Central Illinois, Peoria, area. We are now a church planting church in all that we do. From small groups, to outreach, to Missions focus, to church plants of our own (like Harvest Bible Chapel Denver, CO:
www.harvestdenver.org
) ... we are constantly planting ... we are a planting church ... seeking "a church for every people group".
By the way, each Harvest Bible Chapel that is planted is released after the first year to its own elder board, pastoral staff, fiscal responsibility, and spiritual responsibility. Ties are maintained solely through relationship not through authority structures.
We are excited to continue to participate in the work of our Savior as He "builds the church"! Join us in a passionate planting adventure!
