WHAT WE ARE ABOUT:

Higher Ground is our ministry for kids ages birth through fourth grade. We want the same thing for our kids that we want for our adults - that they would become complete disciples. In Higher Ground, we use age-appropriate worship and teaching so the kids can understand what it means to Know (Worship), Grow (Walk), Show (Work) and Share (Witness).

KNOW -  Through the years that each child is in Higher Ground, we want him or her to know who the Bible says Jesus Christ is, and even more importantly, for each child to personally accept Jesus as their Savior.

GROW - Every week the children will bring home a devotional sheet with our hope that each family will plan on spending time reading God's Word together.

SHOW - We want our children to show Christ in the paths they walk and the words they speak everyday. As they get older, we want to give them opportunities to serve out of the overflow of what they have been learning in Higher Ground.

SHARE - We want our children to share Jesus with everyone they know. Children are never too young to be a witness of Christ, so we will encourage them to be unafraid in sharing their faith in Christ.
