Purpose 

Our Men's Ministry is a great supplement to the Small Group and Sunday Worship experience at Harvest. We seek to raise up men of God with a three-fold focus:

• Build - Jesus said that He would build HIs church, and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it. WE come along side to build, just as Nehemiah called individuals to various parts of the wall and that was their job, so we as men of God are called to our spot in the church (Neh 3:1-32; Neh 4:6)
• Defend - As we build we will be attacked. Just as Nehemiah found that when God is at work there will be opposition, so we must be ready for the resistance against a growing thriving church. We must be ready to defend with sword at side, prepared to battle for self, family and others. (Neh 4:7-18)
• Rally to the Trumpet - Just as Nehemiah challenged to be prepared to run to the aid of a brother, so we must be ready at all times to come to the side of those hurt in the battle (Neh 4:19-20)

Plan

We meet just often enough to sharpen, but not so much that it becomes a burden to the schedule. We will have two men's worship nights (arsenal) per ministry year, and two study groups per ministry year (one in fall and one in spring). This should allow all men to still pursue the full 4 W's of discipleship within the church.

Proposal

Come join us as we take up our place on the wall and work along side one another to help Build, Defend, and Rally! Let's be true men of God - honoring Him with all that we do, living in a thriving church!
