A vital part of being a complete disciple is serving our God within the local church. He calls us His artistic expression (workmanship). He deploys us in the church for the purpose of "edifying the body of Christ." God has brought you to this body for a specific purpose. Where do you sense God calling you to serve? Join us as we passionately serve our Savior.

The descriptions of opportunities at Harvest are below, and you can let us know you are interested by clicking here.

Hilltop Team (prayer)
One of our four pillars is "believing firmly in the power of prayer". In all we do, we first approach the Almighty seeking His will, His power, His lead. We have prayer teams that meet on Sunday mornings at 8:15 a.m., at 9:00 a.m. to pray during the first service, at 11:00 a.m. to pray during the second service, and midweek to pray over the weekly prayer requests. In addition, each ministry incorporates prayer as an essential part of their experience.

Worship Team
Worship is a key part of any of our ministries, from Sunday morning to Thursday night Young Adults to Sunday night High School to Wednesday night Junior High. This team helps lead the body in lifting high the name of Jesus through song. This team includes vocalists as well as instrumentalists.

Tech Team
This team helps run the sound and lighting for our many different worship experiences. The role includes setup, tear down, and handling the actual worship experience.

Setup Team
This team is responsible for the setup of our Sunday morning experience. As renters, we must unpack two trailers of equipment each week and get all of the equipment to their right spots. This team is early to rise, early to serve, and a major help!

Tear Down Team
This team is responsible for tearing down after the 11 a.m. service every Sunday. As renters, we must return all of our equipment back to two trailers each week. This team loves working a little later in the day and ensures we are put away to be ready for another day!

First Touch Team (Ushers, Greeters, Parking, Security)
This team provides the smiling faces and warm welcomes that will meet our body in the first 10 minutes on any given Sunday. Did you know that most visitors decide by the end of that first 10 minutes if they will even return? This is an essential role for our body and simply requires availability, friendliness, and a desire to welcome people to our body. Please note that the security team is a unique role that helps ensure our safety throughout the building. This is a uniquely prepared individual that will require some training as well.

Resource and Ministry Tables
We have several tables that provide information and resources like books or CDs to the body. In addition we have several tables for allowing our various ministries some face time on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in assisting any of these tables by being present and helping inform and welcome our body this is your spot.

Children's Workers
Higher Ground is our Sunday morning children's program. This team provides all of the leaders and helpers each week that make this a successful, fun, safe, and disciple making environment for our little ones. We also have a Wednesday night AWANA ministry that requires an additional set of leaders and helpers. This evening provides a great midweek growth experience for the children.

FUSE (5th-6th) Workers
This ministry meets on both Sunday mornings as well as Wednesday nights. The goal of FUSE is to provide a youth group like experience for these young but quickly maturing pre-teens. The team provides small group leaders, as well as general helpers.

FUEL (7th-8th) Workers
This ministry meets on Wednesday nights and has several retreats throughout the year. This team provides small group leaders and general helpers for running the Wednesday night experience.

IGNITE (High School) Workers
This IGNITE ministry meets on Sunday nights as well as having several retreats and monthly socials. This team provides small group leaders as well as general assistance so that the high schoolers have a great night of laughter, friendship, and maturing discipleship.

Small Group Leader / Study Group Teacher
This team helps provide the primary sources of discipleship for our adults beyond the Sunday service. Small group leaders are shepherds that help lead interactive discussions, guide the group in caring for one another, and being there for people in time of need. Study Group leaders are experts in specific areas of content that help run a 5-10 week Study Group, providing a wonderful supplement to the small group experience.
