The Mission of Harvest Bible Chapel is "to make disciples". The Missions ministry of the church seeks to fulfill that mission via church planting. Thus, the Local Outreach aspect of Harvest Missions helps Harvest Peoria shine the light of Jesus in the local community. 

This is accomplished by actively involving our body in the life of the surrounding community with the specific intent of helping felt needs, in order to act as a light to draw others back to the local church. These activities may be decidely evangelistic, or they may just be compassionate in nature. But they will always allow the church to be a local light and eventually lead to sharing Jesus.



Current Support includes:


Kids & Teens 519/Comeback Kids Camp - We assist this organization as they train church leaders, start camps, and encourage leaders on short term trips both domestically and internationally whom partners assist the local church planting new churches. The plan they use is to teach sound biblical principles to provide a solid spiritual foundation on which to build relationships in the family, church, career field, and local community.

Midwest Food Bank - We assist this organization as they help bridge the gap between prosperity and poverty in our community by gathering large food donations from nationwide corporations and distributing them to social service organizations, as well as, national disaster sites, at no charge.

Peoria Christian Center
- We assist this organization as they provide facilities, programs, and activities as a means to share Jesus Christ. Throughout the years, the dream of PCC has remained steadfast: to provide a place where Christians can grow and the lost can find Christ. 

Peoria Christian Schools
- We have many in our body that attend or work at these schools. PCS supports the Christian home and church by preparing students to lead Christ-like lives through a biblical approach to education.

South Side Mission
- We assist monthly in helping this mission as they "preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to the poor, and in His name to love, feed, house, clothe, and teach all those people He sends to us."

Teen Challenge
- We assist this organization as they strive to evangelize and disciple men and women who have life-controlling problems. The plan they use is to teach sound biblical principles to provide a solid spiritual foundation on which to build relationships in the family, church, career field, and local community.

Young Life - Young Life is a Para-Church organization that reaches out to Junior and Senior High Students. This is done by researching and developing innovative approaches to reaching uncommitted, disinterested kids of all social, cultural, economic and ethnic backgrounds throughout the world. And working with followers of Christ from a variety of traditions and local churches around the world.
