The Mission of Harvest Bible Chapel is "to make disciples". The Missions ministry of the church seeks to fulfill that mission via church planting. Thus, the Global Outreach aspect of Harvest Missions assists in church planting in the United States and abroad. We do have a secondary group of individuals that we support who have been raised up through our local body and have gone into international missions. While their main focus may not be church planting they are clearly and decidely taking part in "making disciples." Primary Support includes those organizations and individuals that are focusing on making disciples via the means of church planting. Current Support includes:
Harvest Bible Fellowship - a church planting organization helping plant Harvest Bible Chapels where there is a need and where God has provided leadership. Harvest Bible Chapel Denver - We at Harvest Peoria have had the great privilege and joy of helping plant the Harvest in Denver. We sent out Jeff and Kim Schwarzentraub from our body, as well as half a dozen others in our body. We are supporting this church in finances, eldership, prayer, and general encouragement. Harvest Metanoia Ploiesti, Romania - Harvest Peoria has become a sponsoring church to this new church plant in Ploiesti, Romania. Christi Pana the Senior Pastor along with Pastor Kent Smith and Kirk VanMaanen, Associate Pastor of Mission with Harvest Bible Fellowship are serving as Elders until the church appoints its own Elders. Our aim is to infuse a passion in our own church to Pray, Give and Go to support the work of Metanoia Ploiesti, Romania. We are committed relationally and financially support the work in Ploiesti.
