Larry is passionate about seeing the name of Jesus lifted up. He loves music, but more than that, he loves to see music used as a vehicle for expressing worship to God. Larry leads the Worship and Technical Ministries at Harvest, and has done so since he joined the staff just weeks before the launch in September of 2006.
Larry came to know Christ at the age of six, and understood early on that God and the church were high priorities in his family. He began serving in Worship Ministries in high school, and stepped up to lead worship while getting his Bachelor of Music at Ball State University. After initially resisting, Larry followed God's calling into full-time ministry in 1999.
Larry and his lovely wife Heather were married in 1994 and wasted no time in beginning a family. McLaughlin was born the next year, followed by Newton, Emerson and Madeline in rapid succession. Larry loves to cook and dreams of owning a restaurant someday. He also enjoys reading and writing, both of which he had plenty of opportunities to do as he recently completed his Masters degree from Grace Theological Seminary.
